Amethi: 32 complaints were put before DM in ‘janta Darshan’

Amethi. As many as 32 complaints were put before district magistrate of Amethi during programme ‘Janta Darshan’ on Friday.

As per information available from office of district magistrate all the 32 complaints recorded during ‘Janta Darshan’ were related to conflicts over nali and encroachments over lands and controversies over wills (wasiyat) for which DM Arun Kumar directed the concerned officials and staff to redress the problems within scheduled time maintaining its quality and transparency.

In another development rights of gram pradhan of village Sembhuyi in Jamo block under Gauriganj assembly segment have been seized by the district magistrate of Amethi for alleged corruption done by the said pradhan with fake documents.

According to information available from office of district magistrate the gram pradhan of village Sembhuyi Bhupendra Pratap Singh allegedly encroached the village land (navin parti) with help of fake documents and constructed some personal building.

Not only this but the said gram pradhan rented that illegally constructed building to a bank on agreement of Rs. 4000/ per month as rent.

All such developments came to light when the matter was raised in an court .

Later after receiving complaints the DM Mr. Kumar ordered for an inquiry and directed the concerned official for recovery of Rs. 78000/ from pradhan and dismiss his right from the said land.

To continue the development work in gram panchayat a 3 member committee has been constituted by the order of DM.
