Amethi: Miscreants who looted Rs. One Lac from from ‘Grahak Service Centre’ of BOB are still missing

Amethi. The miscreants looted Rs. One Lac cash today (Tuesday) from a ‘Grahak Service Centre’ near Bank Of Baroda branch at Babuganj under police station Gauriganj are still away from clutches of police but investigation is on.

According to details available motorcycle borne miscreants forcibly entre into a grahak service centre’ run by Virendra Modanwal at Babuganj looted cash Rs. one lac on pistol point and disappeared .

After raising alarm by the victim police officials including SP Dinesh Singh and ASP Daya Ram Saroj visited the spot and directed the concerned police officials for combing the nab the looters.

Later a deputy SP Arpit Kapoor said that police is investigating the matter and hopefully soon the culprits will be arrested.

Meantime a police team led by sub inspector Akhilesh Prajapati posted at Jagdishpur arrested a miscreant who was recorded within ‘top ten’ criminals and had 18 cases lodged against him in different police stations in Amethi, police said.

Deputy SP SK SIngh said that the arrested miscreant was identified as Matin son of Rafik of Gadariyadih under jurisdiction of Jagdishpur police station .

Police also recovered 208 gram smac from his possession adding that estimated cost of the contraband drug may be Rs. twenty lac in international market.

Mr. Singh also cleared that the arrested culprit is a recorded history-sheeter of district with history sheet number 163A.
