Amethi News. Newly elected gram pradhans of 522 out of 682 gram panchayats in Amethi were sworn in on Tuesday, a press release from office of district administration said.

This auspicious programme was concluded under supervision of district magistrate Arun Kumar.

In this regard DPRO (District Panchayat Raj Officer ) Shreya Mishra detailing the information said that out of these 522 newly elected gram pradhan of 522 gram pachayats were sworn in on Tuesday and more 37 gram pradhans will be sworn in on next day.

After sworn in ceremony both the officials asked gram pradhans to conduct meeting of gram panchayats on May 27 next and reports be sent to administration.

DM Also appealed the newly elected gram pradhans to discharge their duties with dedication and commitment in public interest for all round development of villages and thus the all sections of society.

Amethi News: Police nabbed four accused including murder accused 

As many as 4 accused including a wanted murder accused were nabbed by Amethi police on Tuesday, police said on Tuesday.

Police Superintendent of Amethi Dinesh Singh said that a police team led by SHO Mohanganj Bharat Upadhyay and Devi Dayal Maurya arrested a wanted  Satya Bhan Singh of village Phoola of village Phoola who was wanted being allegedly involved in a poll enimity murder of an advocate some days back.

The wanted Satya Bhan Singh was booked under 147, 148, 149, 302, 34, 506, 323, 308, 269, 270, 120 B IPC, 3 Epidemic Act and 7 CLA Act.

Mr. Singh again said that another police team of police station Musafirkhana led by sub inspectors Umesh Kumar Mishra and Hardev Bahadur Singh nabbed 2 miscreants who were wanted in firing at a shopkeeper in market of Musafirkhana.

Police team also recovered a country made pistol (tamancha)and cartridges and a SUV from possession of the alleged miscreants.

The miscreants were identified as Dhananjay Singh and Sipak Dingh of village Barehati under jurisdiction of police station Jamo and were booked under 3/25 Arms Act and the SUV was seized.

Another police team of police station Bazar Shukul led by sub inspector Indresh Kumar arrested a drug peddler Shiv Pujan tiwari of village Ekka Tajpur with 15 gram smak under ‘Amethi free of Drugs’ and booked him under 8/21 NDPS Act., SHO  Bazar Shuku Vishwanath Yadav said when queried.

Amethi News: 26 new COVID cases traced, 56 recovered

Only 26 new cases of Covid 19 were traced in Amethi on Wednesday followed by recovery of 56 people, a press release from district administration said on Tuesday.

As per reports available with only 26 new cases of pandemic and recovery of 56 people in district active cases have lowered to 487 being good news for all.

On other hand district magistrate Arun Kumar shared with media that 115745 people in Amethi have been vaccinated adding that this vaccination went on 56 centres in district.

DM Mr. Kumar has appealed the people specially above 45 to get vaccinated as per schedule adding that vaccin is totally secured having no side effect.
