Amethi. Martyred police personnel were paid homage by Amethi police on Flag Day which was celebrated on Monday.
On this occasion on the premises of reserve police lines in Amethi Additional SP Daya Ram Saroj paid homage to martyred police personnel and remembered them with great honour.
The Flag Day was also organised in all the police stations.
Meantime different teams of Amethi police on Monday arrested 3 accused and recovered drug and illicit liquor from their possession.

Deputy SP Manoj Kumar Yadav told media that a police team led by SHO of Jagdishpur Rajesh Kumar Singh and sub inspector Umesh Mishra recovered 1366 litres of illicit English Wine , Mc Dowell No. from a vehicle on Lucknow Varanasi national highway.
Police registered case against 2 named and 1 unnamed smugglers of this Hariyana model wine who disappeared from the scene leaving the vehicle laden with wine but covered with straw.
Other teams of Munshiganj and Kamrauli police nabbed 3 miscreants and recovered smack and illicit liquor from them.
All the accused were booked under relevant Excise Acts, police official said.
Also traffic police of Amethi challaned 120 vehicles on Monday and realized Rs. 1,23,000/ as fine from violators of traffic rules .
Traffic police led by Ajay Singh Tomar tried to create awareness among concerned people regarding observation of traffic rules for the safety of life of everyone.
