With the CBSE board confirming the news of the offline examination, a top board official has said that the CBSE Class 10 and 12 examinations will be held in February-March, as every year. This comes amid the current speculation of CBSE Board Exam 2021.
CBSE exam controller Sanam Bhardwaj said in an interview with a leading media organization that so far the board has no plans to delay the board exam 2021.
Giving a lot of relief to the students, he said that this year there is a possibility that students will get more gap days between their exams compared to the previous year due to COVID-19 status and educational disadvantage.
He further added, “While preparing the datesheet in 2019, the students got more than enough difference between the two exams. Even if some of the exams were scheduled back, it was ensured that the subsequent exams were easier. was. ”
Talking about the successful completion of compartment exams of CBSE class 10 and 12 held in September, he told, “Amidst the epidemic, CBSE successfully completed compartment exams and based on the learning that we will be offline in 2021 The board will manage the exam. Mode. There is no plan to delay the exam and it will be conducted in February-March as usual. ”
Regarding practical examinations, Bhardwaj said that this year schools will get more time to prepare for practical examinations.
The TOI quoted him as saying, “Typically, schools get about 1.5 months. This year, they may get more than two months to conduct practical examinations and complete all formalities keeping in mind the COVID-19 guidelines.
Earlier there were reports that the date sheet of CBSE Class 12 practical examinations would be held from January 1, 2021 to February 8, 2021.
When asked about the dates of the CBSE board exam 2021, Bhardwaj did not comment on the dates and said that it is “too early to split any details about board exams.” He said that the board is in talks with several stakeholders and is trying to gather its opinion to form a strategy to ensure the smooth conduct of board exam 2021.
