Delhi University’s Central Placement Cell will start weekly sessions for Career Counselling for its Under Graduate and Post Graduate students from May 4, 2020. These weekly sessions will be conducted every Monday starting from May 4 till June 1 through webinar because of the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic and nation wide lockdown.
The chief organizer of the Career Counseling webinar Dr. Henna Singh said, “Currently, there is a state of confusion and uncertainty among DU students. However, students will have to apply for jobs in various organizations later. Therefore, we have decided to organize these webinars every Monday and train students for the same.”
Significantly Indian education system is already impacted by COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic and nation wide lockdown and most of the institute and universities are conducting online classes for their students.
Each counseling session will have experts addressing students on a variety of topics about career and job prospects and problems. The sessions will focus on a resume, interview, business ethics, case study, and other important requirements for a job application.
Equally, students do not have to pay any fees for training. It is free. Counseling will be held every Monday from 5 PM to 6 PM. If the number of students exceeds the limit, counseling will be conducted in two sessions.

11 May 2020: Business Ethics
18 May 2020: Introduction to Data Analytics
25 May 2020: Case Studies
1 June 2020: Resume and Interview Tips and Tricks
