Chief Minister Samuhik Vivah Yojna: 63 couples wedlocks in Amethi

Ambitious welfare project started by chief minister gifts of Rs. 10,000/ are presented to to the newly wedlocked couples and an amount of Rs. 35,000/ is are directly deposited / transferred into their account

Amethi. As many as 63 couples were wedlocked today in five blocks of Amethi district by Social welfare Department under auspices of ‘Mukhyamantri samuhik Vivah Yojna‘ (Chief Minister Collective Marriage Project)., a press release by district administration said on Saturday.

According to details available out of these 63 marriage ceremonies in 5 blocks of district 22 couples got married in Bhetua followed by 15 in Shahgarh, 6 in Sangrampur, 15 in Bahadurpur and 5 in Jagdishpur blocks.

The newly married couples were greeted and blessed by concerned officials and public representatives on behalf of chief minister for their happy and pleasant life.

Later District Social Welfare Officer Rajesh Sharma told media that under this ambitious welfare project started by chief minister gifts of Rs. 10,000/ are presented to to the newly wedlocked couples and an amount of Rs. 35,000/ is are directly deposited / transferred into their account.

Mr. Sharma also said that at least Rs. 6000/ is spent on arrangement of the auspicious ceremony.
