In Amethi Missing 90 mobile sets return to owners

  • Amethi. Missing ninety mobile sets which were recovered by surveillance / cyber cell of Amethi police were returned to their owners today by police, police said on Saturday.

Missing ninety mobile sets which were recovered by surveillance / cyber cell of Amethi police were returned to their owners today by police, police said on Saturday.

According to details a team of seven cops of surveillance / cyber cell of Amethi police led by sub inspector Vinod Yadav recovered 90 mobile sets which were missed or stolen at different places.

All these 90 sets which estimated cost may be Rs.15,00,000/ (Rs. Fifteen lakh) were returned to their owners in a programme on the premises of SP office at Gauriganj, the district headquarter, of Amethi.

Later SP dinesh singh accompanied by ASP Daya Ran Saroj and Dy SP SK Singh declared an cash award of Rs. five thousand to the cyber team as incentive for their commendable effort.

Later SP Mr. Singh told reporters that Amethi police is always watchful and alert to maintain law and order in society in all respects.

On other hand different teams of Amethi police arrested 2 accused including a warantee and booked them under relevant sections and Acts as per laws.

The arrested accused were identified as Vinay Singh of Harimau (police station Shivratanganj) and Vanshraj of village Pandhauli-Gairikpur under jurisdiction of police station Piparpur.
