Kolkata: Passengers arriving for their journey at Kolkata Airport were surprised when they saw Indian Air Force fighter jets on Thursday morning and again in the afternoon. Fighter aircraft landed here and then flying heavily. These were in fact hawk-advanced jet trainer aircraft, returning from or departing for some place.

The fighter aircraft will do it again on Friday for the second day of practice, which will include six airports in the east, including two in Bengal – Kolkata and Andal. The Indian Air Force had coordinated with ATC at Kolkata Airport to practice them without affecting other commercial flights, as the Air Force aircraft have low fuel capacity, ensuring a time slot for landing and takeoff To be precise that aircraft could fly. A practice was held at Kalaikunda near Kharagpur in the morning and afternoon at the Air Force Base.
