Smriti Irani visited Amethi, reviewed Covid updates

Amethi. Union minister for women and child development and textiles Smriti Irani on Saturday paid surprise visit of her constituency and reviewed the Covid updates in district.

Smriti Irani who is MP from Amethi reached Integrated Covid Control and Command  Centre on the premises of CMO office at Gauriganj the district headquarter of Amethi and reviewed the ongoing services to people related to Covid-19 including vaccination.

According to some information provided by chief development officer of Amethi Ms. Dr. Ankur Lathar the minister took stock of present facilities in district including infrastructure as availability of beds and medicines, vaccination, tracing and testing.

Later she directed the concerned officials present there including DM Arun Kumar, CDO Dr. Ankur Lathar and CMO Dr. Dubey.

DM apprised him all the developments in this regard.

Later the Amethi MP Madan Irani went to houses of some party activists who lost their lives and expressed her condolences to the bereaved families.


President of BJP’s district unit Durgesh Ji said that DIDI without any formality revied the situation in district and met bereaved family members of party activists in different parts of her constituency including Tiloi, amethi, Gauriganj and later at Salon where standing MLA and former minister Dal Bahadur Kori had died after being affected by Covid.


In late afternoon the minister left Amethi and departed  for next destination, party president Durgesh Ji said.
