The Kashmir Files to release in UAE on April 7 with zero cuts

New Delhi. The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri and starring Anupam Kher, is making a splash at the Indian box office. Not only that, it has given rise to many discussions about it. From politicians to cricketers to actors, many have had opinions about the film. With that being said, with the ongoing mixed reactions to the film, the film is finally set for release in the UAE. A few days ago, Vivek Agnihotri had revealed that the film was banned in the country and the reasons for it were unknown. But, on Wednesday, the director took to Twitter to reveal that the film will be released in the United Arab Emirates on April 7 without cuts.

“BIG WIN: I FINALLY got clearance from UAE censorship. 15+ rating approved without cuts. Launching on April 7 (Thursday). Now Singapore. (Thank you Sanu for this portrait),” he tweeted. Lead actor Anupam Kher also celebrated the news.

Various states in India including Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Tripura, Goa, Chandigarh and Uttarakhand have made the film duty free. The Kashmir Files stars Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Pallavi Joshi and Bhasha Sumbli in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Vivek Agnihotri.
