Welspun India announces Rajendra Mehta’s appointment as the President, CHRO, Welspun India based in Mumbai on 18 May 2020 where he joins join immediately. Prior to this latest appointment Mehta was actively working with Synergy Capital as Executive Director and Chief People Officer for a short stint of 7 months. He was engaged and was working as Chief People Officer at DHFL from Oct 2016 and Nov 2019 before joining Synergy Capital.

In his new role at Welspun India he will be responsible to oversee the HR function of all WIL subsidiary companies Welspun Advanced Textiles, Welspun Retails Welspun Floorings and Welspun Global Brands Limited.

He is holding a comprehensive experience of 25 years in developing and executing the strategic Human Resources agenda of organizations. Most of these agendas are driven for the profitable growth of the business. Extensive exposure to large corporations with business spread across geographies, in India and overseas as well.

Mehta holds a master’s degree in Personnel Management Field of Human Resources. He started his career in the field of HR joining as assistant manager, Human Resources, KEC International. Started from KEC; in his HR experience till now he has worked with different companies to name some Larsen & Toubro, The Times of India Group, VNL, and Zee Entertainment.
